Founded in 2001, Dark Horse Chess is an organization responsible for a variety of chess-related activities:

    Dark Horse Junior Chess Club  - Victoria's best club pitched exclusively at junior players.

    Personal Training  - Training on an individual and small group level has long been a great specialty of ours.

    In-School Coaching & Events  - Our renowned in-school chess development program.

    Interschool Events  - Official Victorian Interschool events run by Dark Horse Chess in cooperation with Chess Victoria.

      Canterbury Summer Open  - Myer Tan Grand Prix Category 2 weekend tournament run at the Box Hill Chess Club in January 2007. Proudly sponsored by Australian Chess Enterprises. $1500 prize pool. Click here for full results and a list of the prizewinners.
